# Will callers know they are talking to an AI receptionist?

Modern AI voices sound natural, with normal pauses and follow-up questions, so many callers do not notice or do not mind as long as their problem gets solved. We still recommend that the agent says it is an automated assistant if someone asks, and that callers can always ask for a person and get a transfer or a callback.
