# Is there a free AI receptionist?

Some apps offer a free trial or a limited free plan, but a working AI receptionist is rarely free for long, because every call uses paid phone lines and AI processing. Free plans usually limit calls, minutes or features like booking. We do not offer a free plan, but setup (normally from $299) is free for our first 10 businesses; the monthly plan starts from $150.

## What free plans usually limit

- Number of calls or minutes: Enough to try it, not enough to run a busy business.
- Booking and integrations: Often only on paid plans.
- Branding and voice: A generic greeting or limited voice options.
- Setup help: You write and test the script yourself.

## Our free setup offer

Setup is free for our first 10 businesses. That includes the setup session, the call script written with you, testing with your team and connecting your calls. You pay only the monthly plan. [Claim a free setup](https://ai-voice-agent.ca/get-started/).

You can try with free credits from voice AI platforms, but you will pay for the phone number, minutes and AI usage once real calls come in, plus your own time to build and maintain it.

**How much does it cost?**

From $150 a month, plus setup from $299. Setup is free for our first 10 businesses. The final price depends on your call volume and how many integrations you need. See [pricing](https://ai-voice-agent.ca/pricing/).
